Welcome Classmates!
It is our pleasure to invite you all to the Island University. On behalf of the Student Government Association, we are glad you chose to attend Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi. As the President and Vice President we are honored to represent you and the rest of the student body for the 2012-2013 academic year. The way SGA is structured allows for our government to better represent your voices, opinions, and ideas to the administration. However, in order for your voices and those of our peers to be heard it is our responsibility to welcome you to do so. The Student Government Association is your liaison between you and TAMUCC administration. After all it is your university and your needs, concerns, and opinions are a priority for us to address. We encourage you to join us at our weekly meetings to learn more about what SGA does and how to make your voices heard. Also we would like to promote the involvement in other extracurricular activities on campus, whether it is an academic or social organization. The island is your new home and we want to provide you with the ultimate islander experience.
